Performance
In preparation for this performance I sewed a 25 foot black taffeta dress. I crawled slowly through it to the end where my arms and head emerged. There was a large glass jar in front of me that I reached for. Still laying on the ground, I began to pull my dress all the way up so my toes were showing. Then I took the jar and sat up with it. Inside the jar were white crumpled pieces of paper that I carefully removed one by one. Eventually it was revealed that there was a bird inside the jar (alive). Once I removed all of the paper from the jar, the bird was left, and I stood up with the jar to my chest and walked out of the space.
